Quick Service Restaurants don’t miss out on business, weather you’re a coffee shop, deli, sandwich shop, or franchise

Why do the major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands all seem to be rolling out card programs? Its simple-- after testing acceptance and the tests indicate greater revenue can be earned when credit cards are accepted. The theory behind this fact is that consumers are simply not as price conscious when using a credit or check card. They are more likely to buy more and higher priced items, and, according to a 2002 First Data survey, are more likely to be loyal and return more often to a QSR that accepts major credit cards and check cards. To benefit from this merchant must have well-placed, signage that indicates the card types that are accepted. Nationwide Payment System will provide the signage you need.

Credit cards are all about individual choice, different cards for different people. There are even cards available now with all kinds of designs to individualize them. Consumers generally favor their check card or card that offer rewards, points or miles. The Card Companies have spent billions in advertising to consumers that the Visa card is accepted “everywhere you want to be and they should not “leave home without” their American Express card. The Discover card is “the card that pays you back,” and “for everything else, there is MasterCard.” The lesson to be learned? Merchants need to accept all cards to keep consumers happy who favor one card over another.

There are special rates for QSR “Small Ticket Rates” available for Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) weather you are an independent operator or a franchise. The “Small Ticket” rates don’t even require a signed receipt for transactions under $20.00, which can speed up your checkout. NPS understands and has proven itself in the QSR market.

Debit

Debit requires the customer to put in a pin number in a pin pad and is a secure transaction; no signature is required for these transactions. Merchants pay a flat fee for these transactions, check cards and debit cards make up a large percentage of the small ticket transactions taken in today market.

FREE PIN PADS, NPS offers these to Qualified Merchants, call NPS and find out about our QSR Program.

Gift Card

Many QSR’s are using gift cards and stored value cards to reward customers or giving them discounts for pre paying for cards this gives the merchant an interest free loan and capital to use. Gift Cards are a great advertising tool and is a billboard in the customer’s wallet. Gift Cards promote loyalty, repeat customers and increase Sales.
